Red cherry, pomegranate, coffee and chocolate  perfume.

The palate confirms the nose with fine-grained tannins and a delicious, quite exotic, and persistent finish. Lovely wine!

95 POINTS DECANTER- Brunello di Montalcino 2012

Medium-bodied and expressive, with aromas of mineral and floral-infused red fruit leading to a squeaky-clean palate boasting layered yet soft tannins, and sustaining to a long, fruit-driven finish. Bright, fleshy fruit aromas along with notes of woodsmoke and black pepper.

93 POINTS THE WINE ADVOCATE ROBERT PARKER- BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO RISERVA 2013

The 2013 Brunello di Mntacino Riserva is a dark and brooding expression with black fruit aromas followed by spice, leather and savory pipe tobacco. This Riserva packs a powerful punch. The palate is treated to cherry liqueur flavors with chocolate-covered cherry and black currant. The mouthfeel is hardy, well strutìctured and long in persistence. The alcohol is recorded at 14,5% but it feels even stronger than that.
